The Howell Race Engineering E92 M3 V10 package has been developed over an extended period to provide a properly engineered route to installing the BMW S85 V10 in the E92 M3.
The package combines a custom subframe, custom engine mounts, a fabricated aluminium trapped-door sump and anti-roll-bar brackets with high-specification stainless steel exhaust manifolds and a bespoke alloy water reservoir.
At the heart of the conversion is the Howell Syvecs V10 ECU. It plugs directly into the original V10 engine harness and integrates directly with the M3 chassis harness.
Trapped-door alloy sump
A fabricated aluminium trapped-door sump engineered for the conversion, including the required anti-roll-bar brackets.
Howell Syvecs V10 ECU
Plugs directly into the original S85 engine harness and integrates directly with the E92 M3 chassis harness.
Stainless steel manifolds
High-specification fabricated stainless steel exhaust manifolds included with the engineered installation.
Alloy water reservoir
A bespoke aluminium reservoir fitting neatly around the front of the S85 intake air boxes.
Developed integration
The required mechanical, electrical and control-system components developed as one package.
